University of the Sunshine Coast in Brisbane is seeking a Director of Insights and Analytics to lead the function, shape institutional strategy and modernise analytics across the university.

You will work with the Executive to integrate financial, student and workforce data, delivering forecasting, scenario modelling and strategic analysis to inform major investments and planning. This is a five-year fixed-term appointment with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior leadership experience in analytics, strategic planning or related discipline.
• Experience leading forecasting, predictive modelling, scenario analysis and investment appraisal.
• Strong strategic and commercial judgement, including evaluating priorities and advising senior decision-makers.
• Experience setting enterprise data and analytics strategy with governance and architecture.
• Ability to influence executive leaders and communicate complex findings clearly.
• Experience in higher education or regulated/publicly funded environments.

Responsabilités

• Set the strategic direction for UniSC's data, analytics and insights capability and align with institutional strategy.
• Lead forecasting, scenario modelling and analysis to inform student demand, portfolio and finances.
• Advise the Vice-Chancellor and Executive with independent judgement and clear recommendations.
• Develop an integrated enterprise data environment and improve data quality and accessibility.
• Establish governance, quality and stewardship for external reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team and foster cross-portfolio collaboration.
