Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Membership of CPA Australia, CAANZ or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in financial accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of the Agency’s annual financial statements and audit process.
• Oversee asset management, taxation, treasury, investments and banking functions.
• Provide strategic financial and technical advice to the NIAA Executive.
• Ensure compliance with the PGPA Act and related financial frameworks.
• Build strong relationships with ANAO, Audit and Risk Committee and Department of Finance.
• Identify emerging financial risks and drive improvements to frameworks and processes.
• Lead and leverage your team to deliver high-quality financial management outcomes.
