Job summary

West Moreton Health is seeking an experienced financial accounting and policy expert to shape key decisions across the organisation. You will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer to oversee financial accounting, compliance, procurement and contract management within a large health service.

You will provide expert advice to executives and the Board, ensuring statutory reporting, audits and governance commitments are met while promoting strong financial governance across the region.

Qualifications

• Membership to CPA/ICAA or similar qualification, or working toward same.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial management and accounting leadership across the health service.
• Deliver accounting advice to executives and the Board to shape key decisions.
• Oversee capital accounting, external reporting, and compliance with financial governance obligations.
• Lead procurement and contract management processes to ensure value for money.
• Support the CFO with statutory reporting, audits and governance expectations.
