We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Enterprise Client Account Lead (ECAL) to join our Australia global client management team. This role is based in Sydney, Australia.

The ECAL is responsible for leading enterprise coverage and driving growth across BNY’s most important local client relationships, with a primary focus on banks, broker dealers and asset owners. The role requires strategic oversight, trusted advisory at the C-suite level, and enterprise-wide coordination across multiple lines of business to ensure client success and firm growth.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Client Leadership & Growth
    • Lead enterprise-wide coverage for the most complex and strategic clients across banks, broker dealers, and asset owners.
    • Develop and execute relationship strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
    • Identify opportunities for incremental account growth and evolve client business models in partnership with the client C-suite.
  • Strategic Advisory
    • Act as a consultative partner and trusted advisor to senior client leadership, providing insights into market trends, regulatory developments, and industry opportunities.
    • Influence client strategic objectives by aligning BNY’s global capabilities and services to client needs.
  • Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for BNY’s premier clients in Australia, ensuring consistent enterprise-wide coverage.
    • Coordinate across multiple business lines to deliver seamless client experiences and address escalated service matters.
    • Maintain high-level client engagement through regular strategic check-ins and service reviews.
  • Firm-wide Leadership
    • Collaborate with global colleagues to deliver integrated solutions across geographies.
    • Represent BNY at industry events and conferences to maintain visibility and promote firm thought leadership.
    • Serve as the interface for compliance, regulatory, and reputational matters between clients and BNY.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Industry Knowledge & Expertise
    • Deep knowledge of the Australian financial markets, including superannuation, asset owners, asset managers, banks, and broker dealers.
    • Recognized as an expert in the financial services industry, with strong credibility and existing client relationships at the C-suite level.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in relationship management, business development, client services, or account management in financial services.
    • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level, complex client relationships and driving business growth.
    • Experience coordinating across global, matrixed organizations.
  • Skills & Attributes
    • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable client strategies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to establish strong internal and external relationships and navigate diverse working styles across geographies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
    • Fluency in English is essential.
