Job summary

The University of Melbourne is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Asialink's flagship school partnership programs, shaping strategy, partnerships and delivery to meet DFAT-funded objectives and deliver measurable educational impact.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery, manage budgets and international teams, engage with government partners, and drive monitoring, evaluation and learning to demonstrate outcomes across Australia and Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Hold postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in complex program leadership roles.
• Demonstrate strategic program leadership delivering complex education or capability programs across dynamic, multi-country environments.
• Manage funding agreements, budgets, governance obligations and relationships with government or major funding partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design and growth of Asialink's education portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and DFAT objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of BRIDGE school partnership programs, ensuring quality learning outcomes, compliance and effective cross-organisational collaboration.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with DFAT, governments and education partners across Australia and Southeast Asia to support program success.
• Manage human and financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, risk, reporting and supervision of Indonesia-based education staff.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks to evidence impact, improve performance and meet funding partner reporting requirements.
