Verra Mobility is hiring a Director, Edge Engineering to lead the hardware and software engineering teams across international operations. The role sets the technical direction for Edge solutions, balancing sustaining work with new product development and improving performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering leadership across hardware and software.
• Strong judgement in architecture, systems design and product performance.
• Experience leading complex technology products through development, introduction, operation and enhancement.
• Knowledge of modern engineering practices, systems engineering and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with distributed, embedded or Edge technology environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead multidisciplinary hardware and software engineering capability across international operations.
• Set technical direction and influence architecture decisions for Edge products and platforms.
• Develop engineering roadmaps balancing sustaining engineering, product improvement and new product development.
• Improve reliability, performance, security and scalability of deployed technology.
• Strengthen engineering processes, standards and delivery disciplines for quality and predictability.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure robust product design and validation.
