Job description

Our client is a leading non-bank lender, recognised for delivering innovative financing solutions across property, corporate, and institutional sectors. Backed by substantial capital and a diversified funding platform, the business continues to expand at pace.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior treasury leader to step into a pivotal executive role and shape the strategic direction of the organisation’s funding, liquidity, and capital management activities.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the corporate treasury function with a focus on strategic capital management and funding optimisation.

Your remit will include steering debt capital markets activity, funding programs and investor engagement. As a trusted advisor to the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in positioning the business for sustainable growth and financial strength.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strategic leadership. You will also engage directly with investors, banking partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders to optimise funding structures and support new product development.

This role suits an executive who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also shaping strategy, ensuring the treasury function is both operationally excellent and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organisation’s treasury strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth and risk appetite.
  • Manage the group’s liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet optimisation.
  • Own the day-to-day treasury operations including liquidity, cash flow, and funding management.
  • Drive relationships with banks, investors, credit rating agencies, and regulators.
  • Implement and maintain best-practice risk management frameworks across interest rate, liquidity, and funding risks.
  • Provide strategic advice to the CFO, Board, and ELT on treasury risk and opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small high-performing treasury team.
About You
  • Proven track record in a senior corporate treasury leadership role, ideally within a non-bank lender, bank, or financial services organisation.
  • Deep knowledge of capital markets, corporate treasury and structured funding.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with investors, banks, credit rating agencies and regulators at a senior level.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk and growth objectives.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong track record of executive-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and strong risk management expertise.
  • CA/CPA/CFA qualified or equivalent.
