Job summary

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking an Executive Level 2 leader to drive the Closing the Gap agenda and organisational reform across the department. Provide strategic leadership for the Closing the Gap agenda across DEWR.
Lead organisational reform initiatives and partnerships with First Nations stakeholders.
Shape strategic priorities and provide authoritative advice to senior leaders and ministers.
Embed Closing the Gap Priority Reforms into departmental policies and programs.
Build high‑level relationships with First Nations organisations, community leaders and government agencies.
Lead monitoring, evaluation and reporting to inform decisions and governance.
Manage teams, resources and priorities to deliver results in evolving environments.
Support a high‑performing, inclusive workplace through coaching and mentoring of staff.
