Ulton Group, a Queensland-based advisory, accounting and wealth management firm, seeks a Director, Business Services in Brisbane to lead client engagements and drive growth. You will mentor teams, shape strategic direction and deliver tailored tax, accounting and advisory solutions.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee complex work, and push for service expansion while staying ahead of regulatory changes. Strong leadership and public practice experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Significant experience in Australian public practice accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of Australian taxation law, corporations law and trust law.
• Strong leadership and people-management capability.
• Experience managing a client portfolio and providing high-level commercial advice.
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, Reckon or QuickBooks.

What will your role look like?

As a Director, you will:

Desired Skills and Experience

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A relevant bachelor’s degree andCA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Significant experience in Australian public practice accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of Australian taxation law, corporations law and trust law.
• Strong experience across taxation, accounting and business advisory services.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and people-management capability.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-level commercial advice.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to confidently resolve complex technical matters.
• Experience using accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, Reckon or QuickBooks.
