Job summary

Zoos Victoria, a world-leading conservation organisation and Victorian Government statutory authority, is seeking a senior executive to lead asset presentation, capital projects and facilities management across four properties.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape long-term asset strategy, master planning and precinct development, ensuring safety, function and alignment with each site’s character while supporting daily visitor engagement, animal welfare and conservation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Executive track record leading complex infrastructure portfolios.
• Experience managing maintenance operations and large capital works across multi-site environments.
• Experience implementing asset management frameworks and lifecycle planning.
• Strong commercial acumen and infrastructure risk management.
• Coaching leadership style with a strategic vision.
• Excellent communication with Board, Government and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset presentation, capital projects, and facilities management across four properties.
• Develop long-term asset strategy, master planning and precinct development.
• Advise Executive and Board on asset risk, condition and capital investment priorities.
• Ensure assets support daily visitor engagement, animal welfare and conservation outcomes.
