Little Leo's Early Education in Denistone East NSW seeks a Room Leader (Diploma) to guide a team of educators and deliver high-quality early learning experiences. You will mentor staff, plan curriculum, and ensure care environments align with EYLF standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, NSW Working With Children Check, and current First Aid/CPR training. A collaborative Centre Director/Educational Leader relationship supports continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Child Protection and Child Safety training.
• Child Protection and GECCKO Child Safety Training Certificates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to child safety and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support your team of educators.
• Guide curriculum planning, critical reflection and documentation.
• Foster a positive team culture through coaching and collaboration.
• Work closely with the Centre Director and Educational Leader to drive continuous improvement.
• Create warm, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• Deliver play-based educational programs guided by the EYLF.
• Maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment.
• Promote child safety and uphold health, safety and compliance requirements.
