Job summary

Uniting Limited’s Narrarrang Kindergarten in Port Melbourne is hiring a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our new team from Term 1, 2027. The role is 52.5 hours per fortnight at a brand-new on-site centre, supporting children’s development through play-based learning.

You will plan and deliver high-quality programs, collaborate with families and staff, and contribute to an inclusive, values-led learning environment that fosters safety and belonging.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an early childhood setting.
• First aid and CPR, National Child Safety Training, and state-based safety training (or ability to obtain before commencement).

You’re an empathetic, enthusiastic educator who believes in every child’s right to belong, learn, and thrive. You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and bring a commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement. Most importantly, you bring heart to everything you do. You will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in an early childhood setting.

You will also hold current first aid and CPR, National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based Child Safety Training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
