Uniting is seeking an ongoing part-time Diploma-qualified Educator for our Bacchus Marsh Montessori Kindergarten, offering a program for 3- to 4-year-olds. The role operates 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with sessions across the week to support the Montessori approach.

You'll bring a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and meet safety requirements; Montessori qualification or experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent required.
• Current National Child Safety Training or state-based equivalent.
• Montessori qualification or experience highly valued but not essential.
• Experience in kindergarten/early childhood service with high-quality care.

Our kindergartens located in Bacchus Marsh offers a creative program for 3 to 4 year-olds and operates 8:30am to 4:30pm between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Friday.

You support our team focused on nurturing children’s strengths, interests and social connections as well as teaching values that reflect our small local community - kindness, resilience and teamwork.

About you

You will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority). You will also bring with you:

• Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based child safety training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
• Prior experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
• Montessori qualification or experience would be highly valued, but not essential.
