Job summary

Nest Montessori Children's House – Everton Hills, QLD, is seeking a Diploma qualified Educator to join our Olive group for children aged 15 months to 3 years. You will contribute to high-quality Montessori education in a warm, collaborative team.

Experience is not essential as training can be provided, but alignment with the Montessori philosophy is important. We offer supportive management, flexible rostering, and a calm, well-resourced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma level Educator or working towards Diploma.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Understanding of child safety requirements.
• Familiarity with NQS and EYLF.

Nest Montessori Children’s House is a small, family run, 64-place centre embracing the Montessori approach to education and care. We are seeking an experienced Diploma qualified Educator to join our Olive group (children aged 15 months up to 3 years).

The Role

The role requires a warm and patient Diploma level Educator (qualified or working towards) to work as an active team member, providing high quality education and care within a Montessori setting. Though experience is not essential as training can be provided, alignment with the Montessori philosophy is required.

• develop strong connections with children
• create a safe and inclusive environment for children and fellow Educators
• work collaboratively with your Educator team
• proactively reflect on the environment to best meet the needs of the children
• liaise with families in regard to the day-to-day happenings

About you

• Diploma (or equivalent qualification) or working towards obtaining the qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• A thorough understanding of child safety requirements
• Understanding of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, NQS and EYLF
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
