Job summary

ECMS is recruiting Diploma Educators for Oakhill Children's Centre in Melbourne. You will work 38 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rotating roster with one monthly rostered day off, in a not-for-profit, community-focused setting that supports families and child safety.

You will deliver play-based, developmental learning experiences, follow ECMS pedagogical framework, and foster strong partnerships with children, families and staff while embracing ongoing reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is required.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate is required.
• Foundations of Child Safety training is required.
• Police Check is required.
• First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.
• Develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.
• Actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
