The Guardian Angel Preschool in Claymore NSW is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our small, supportive team on a Monday–Thursday contract through May 2027 with the view to extend.

The successful applicant will thrive on hands-on floor work, be confident working independently, and value quality early childhood education built through everyday interactions, meaningful relationships, intentional teaching and responsive care.

The Guardian Angel Preschool – Claymore NSW

The Guardian Angel Preschool is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our small, supportive team.

This is a Monday–Thursday contract position until May 2027, with the view to continue beyond this time. We are looking for an educator who is confident, capable and passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children, while being part of a close-knit service where relationships really matter.

This role would suit an educator who enjoys being actively involved on the floor, is confident working independently when required, and understands that quality early childhood education is built through everyday interactions, meaningful relationships, intentional teaching and responsive care.

• Is confident identifying and responding to risks to children's safety and wellbeing
• Is confident supporting children with additional needs and adapting approach to individual children
• Is able to remain calm, patient and responsive when children are experiencing big emotions or challenging moments
• Is comfortable working within a Christian service and respectful of Christian values and ethos
• Subject to Working With Children Check, verification of qualifications, recent reference checks and other screening and suitability requirements
