Job summary

Harbour Early Learning is seeking an experienced Diploma Educator for our Vaucluse centre in Sydney. The role is full time (38 hours, 5 days, Monday to Friday) with a focus on delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.

You will join a dedicated team of educators, work with children aged Birth to 5 years, and contribute to program planning, documentation, and family partnerships. Salary is negotiable within $35–$42 per hour plus superannuation, with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training, or willingness to obtain.
• Current Child Protection and Child Safety training or willingness to obtain.
• Clear Working with Children Check.
• Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that encourages each child’s agency and participation.
• Facilitate and document learning opportunities based on children's interests.
• Work collaboratively with a team of ECT and Diploma professionals.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with families.
• Follow centre's philosophy, policies and procedures.
