Job summary

Joyful Learning ELC is seeking a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Mitcham team on a part‑time or casual basis. You will contribute to delivering high‑quality education and care, planning meaningful curriculum, and observing and documenting children's development.

We value collaborative teamwork, reflective practice, and a child‑safety focused approach aligned with Victorian standards. Working with Children checks and required training are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA‑approved equivalent qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Experience in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Knowledge of NQF, EYLF and National Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality education and care in accordance with the NQF, EYLF, National Regulations and service policies.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, observations, assessments and documentation of children's learning.
• Collaborate with Educational Leader and fellow educators to develop engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
• Implement intentional teaching strategies that extend children's interests, learning and independence.
• Build positive, respectful, professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's wellbeing, inclusion and development; maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development; uphold child safety standards.
