Juniors at Wadalba is a small family owned service dedicated to providing quality education and care to all children attending our service. We operate 51 weeks and offer caring, inclusive learning experiences while fostering growth and development.

We are seeking a full-time Diploma trained educator to join our friendly, dynamic team to deliver and evaluate early learning programs and support professional development for staff.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant will have: Certificate III in Childcare Services
• Current WWCC
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• GECCKO child safety training certificate
• Child protection certificate
• Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and implement them throughout each day
• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework
• Commitment to Child Protection and Safety
• Commitment to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with families, children and colleagues
• A genuine passion and drive in providing children with the best possible start in life
• Some Experience with digital programming platforms and general computer skills.

The position requires someone who ispassionate and motivated about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.

We operate 51 weeks of the year and close over the Christmas Period and Public Holidays. And our hours of service are 6:30am - 6:00pm, Monday- Friday.
