Job summary

Western Health in Melbourne’s western region is seeking a Project Manager to plan and lead Digital Technology projects across multiple sites. You will drive projects from mandate through to delivery using PRINCE2, engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The role focuses on scope, budget, time and quality, with strong governance, reporting and vendor management to ensure successful outcomes for the DTS change portfolio.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or Management.
• 5+ years as a project lead with capability to deliver complex DT projects.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or commitment to acquire within 3 months.
• Strong skills in project planning, documentation and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering gateway reviews and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of assigned digital technology projects to support the DTS change portfolio.
• Engage with project stakeholders to define and manage project scope, plans and schedules.
• Report regularly against key project metrics to the DTS PMO and steering committees.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships for materials and services.
• Contribute to the DT Project Management Framework and transition-to-operations plans.
