Select Recruitment in Benalla, Victoria, is seeking a Digital Technician to support digital systems across manufacturing, engineering, and operations.

You will work with production, IT and quality teams to troubleshoot, deploy and improve MES, SCADA, IoT and AI tools, helping to raise data quality and efficiency.

The role starts on a casual basis with a pathway to permanent employment after a qualifying period, with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Diploma/Cert IV or trade in engineering/IT is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in digital, IT, automation or technical support roles.
• Experience with digital technologies in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of digital systems, including MES and project-tracking tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Improve data quality, reporting and digitisation of processes.
• Ensure cybersecurity and data management compliance with IT policies.
• Collaborate with IT and site stakeholders to implement digital solutions.
• Support initiatives to improve production quality and throughput.
• Explore AI tools to enhance manufacturing and order execution.
