Mater is seeking a Digital Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for staff needing help with digital technologies. Based in Brisbane on a 12-month full-time arrangement, the role involves triaging, resolving, or escalating IT faults, and supporting devices across offices.

You will handle PC, AV, and network issues, document resolutions clearly, and assist with asset management and routine IT inquiries. The role emphasizes customer-focused service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Certificate II or III in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years relevant IT experience.
• Experience in service desk, AV and desktop support to end users in large environments.
• Client-focused service delivery to internal and external clients.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, networking, hardware installation and support.

Responsabilités

• Provide first contact support via phone, in person, or messaging platforms.
• Classify, prioritise, resolve or escalate faults and requests.
• Document faults and requests with clear customer-facing language.
• Assist with IT asset management and routine IT tasks.
• Support IT equipment installation and upgrades (PCs, printers, AV, etc.).
• Assist with system upgrades and change implementation plans.
• Provide network, telephony and mobile device support for routine faults and requests.
• Escalate urgent matters to appropriate managers.
