Job summary

Aurec is seeking a Program Governance Specialist to support a Federal Government portfolio from Canberra. You will mature digital initiatives from concept to readiness, establishing governance frameworks and coordinating cross-agency delivery in a secure environment.

In this role you will develop governance artefacts, provide expert governance advice, manage risk and reporting, and prepare executive briefings to support senior decision making under hybrid working arrangements in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Experience in establishing governance arrangements and delivery frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior executives.
• Ability to coordinate cross-agency and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance arrangements, delivery frameworks, reporting processes, and assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain governance artefacts, including implementation plans and risk registers.
• Provide expert advice on governance, planning, and investment development.
• Coordinate readiness activities ensuring governance, resourcing, and transition readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, policy, digital, and delivery teams.
• Prepare executive reports and governance papers for senior decision-making.
