A Typical Day in the Job

As a Digital Marketing Apprentice, you’ll work alongside a dynamic and friendly digital team, gaining hands-on experience across a range of channels. You’ll:

• Assist in setting up, monitoring, and optimising paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
• Track performance metrics like CTR, ROAS, and CPA
• Help write ad copy and coordinate creatives
• Conduct keyword research for both SEO and PPC campaigns
• Support on-page SEO work (e.g., metadata, internal linking, content optimisation)
• Learn to use industry tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Looker Studio
• Help maintain affiliate relationships and track activity
• Contribute to campaign rollouts, UTM tracking, and marketing calendar updates
• Write short-form content, including landing pages and ad text

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge

• A genuine interest in digital marketing, particularly in PPC and SEO
• Proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
• Some familiarity with platforms like Google Ads or SEO tools is a bonus
• Strong written communication and excellent attention to detail
• A desire to build a long-term career in digital marketing
• 3 GCSEs at grades 4/C or above, including a minimum Grade 5/C in Maths and Grade 4/C in English

Salary, Hours & Benefits

• Salary: £22,880 per annum
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
• Regular pay reviews
• Additional holiday allowance with length of service
• Training and development opportunities

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital marketing. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including progression into a full-time Search Marketing Executive position and further training such as a Level 4 qualification.

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification, and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective digital marketer.

With our expert online training and one-to-one support, you’ll channel your creativity and learn to create, implement, and analyse successful campaigns as part of a professional marketing team.
