Job summary

Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS) invites applications for a passionate Digital Futures Technologies Teacher. Lead engaging programs in digital technologies, computer science and robotics for Years 7–12, including ATAR pathways.

You will connect curriculum to AI, automation and emerging tech while advising students on future pathways. The role sits in the Future Technologies learning area, contributes to curriculum development and supports enrichment in robotics, coding and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Digital Technologies across Years 7 to 12 with expertise in computer science, programming, software development, robotics, digital systems and emerging technologies.
• Ability to connect curriculum to contemporary applications including artificial intelligence and automation.
• Capacity to teach ATAR Computer Science and/or ATAR Applied Information Technology; strong curriculum knowledge and assessment expertise.

Responsibilities

• Displays expertise in Digital Technologies, computer science, programming and emerging technologies.
• Delivers engaging programs that develop creativity, computational thinking and problem-solving.
• Has the capacity to teach ATAR Computer Science and/or ATAR Applied Information Technology.
• Applies high-impact teaching practices aligned with the THINK, RISE, EXCEL framework.
• Connects learning to contemporary technologies and future pathways.
• Uses assessment, feedback and data to improve student achievement.
• Contributes innovative ideas and maintains contemporary industry knowledge.
• Builds positive relationships and contributes to a collaborative team culture.
