Job summary

ASIC is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst to perform preservation, triage and analysis across devices and large data sets. You will advise investigation teams, assess new tech and maintain evidentiary standards using leading forensic tools and methodologies.

Collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring junior staff are key components of the role. The role fits within the Evidence Services and Digital Forensic teams, offering a balanced hybrid work model and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data or forensic analysis.
• Experience in a legal or consulting practice, forensic services provider or law enforcement with a technology focus.
• Expertise in computer, mobile and network forensics, OSINT methodologies.
• Experience using digital forensic and eDiscovery tools such as Nuix, X-Ways, Magnet AXIOM, Cellebrite, XRY/XAMN or Forensic Explorer.
• Certifications such as CFCE, CFE or GCFE are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic preservation, triage and analysis of computers, mobile devices and large datasets.
• Provide technical advice, training and analytical support to investigation and stakeholder teams.
• Assess emerging technologies to ensure forensic tools and procedures meet evidentiary requirements.
• Develop relationships across teams and regulatory bodies to deliver effective forensic solutions.
• Mentor team members and manage third-party forensic service providers.
