Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Digital Content Officer within the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN). You will coordinate digital content for health promotion and research, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for diverse audiences.

Working with the Communications and Engagement Directorate, you will manage publication and updates across SCHN platforms, supporting public health initiatives and knowledge translation to improve child and youth wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in digital communications or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with website CMS, web writing and editing.
• Knowledge of health promotion principles or public health practice.
• Ability to create engaging, accessible web content for diverse audiences.
• Understanding of web policies, standards and guidelines.
• Ability to advise on design, navigation and accessibility.
• Strong time management and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, publication and maintenance of digital content relating to health promotion, harm prevention and research.
• Enhance SCHN’s visibility across internal and external platforms.
• Ensure content is accurate, timely, and accessible to broad audiences.
• Support publication and management of online content across SCHN facilities to ensure consistency and quality.
