Job summary

Autonomy & Asset Management Group is seeking an experienced Digger Fitter to service, maintain, and repair Liebherr excavators in the Bowen Basin. This role offers a continuous 7/7 roster with 12-hour shifts on site.

You will carry out scheduled maintenance, fault finding, and component change-outs on heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring safety and documentation compliance. Essential qualifications include a Diesel Fitting trade, CBM, Standard 11, and a current Australian driver licence.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Heavy Mobile Plant.
• Liebherr excavator experience is essential.
• Coal Board Medical (CBM) and Standard 11 are essential.
• Strong heavy mobile mining equipment experience.
• Proven breakdown and preventative maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Ability to work a 7/7 D/S roster with 12-hour shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance on Liebherr excavators and heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Perform breakdown repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Service and maintain Liebherr excavators and related equipment.
• Conduct mechanical fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Carry out component change-outs and inspections.
• Complete maintenance documentation.
• Adhere to mine site safety procedures.

AAMG is currently seeking experienced Digger Fitters to join our client's team working on Liebherr excavators within the Bowen Basin. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Diesel Fitters with heavy mobile mining equipment experience looking for ongoing work on a consistent 7/7 roster.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of Liebherr excavators and associated heavy mobile mining equipment.

• Scheduled and preventative maintenance
• Breakdown repairs and fault finding
• Servicing and maintaining Liebherr excavators
• Mechanical fault diagnosis and repairs
• Component change-outs
• Equipment inspections and maintenance
• Completing maintenance documentation
• Working safely in accordance with mine site procedures

About You

To be successful, you will have:
