Job summary

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) is seeking an accredited Dietitian for a full-time temporary role based in Mount Barker. The position offers diverse caseloads across community and multidisciplinary settings, with opportunities for professional development and supervision.

It includes leadership duties and a supportive team culture. Work is in Adelaide Hills region, with a salary of A$94,997–$110,052 plus Super and benefits, until 31 December 2026.

Qualifications

  • Accredited Dietitian with experience delivering evidence-based care across diverse clients and clinical presentations.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary community health team.
  • Experience managing complex caseloads and leading within a regional health network.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality dietetic assessment, intervention, education and health promotion services.
  • Manage a diverse and complex caseload while promoting self-management and preventive health.
  • Contribute dietetic expertise to planning, delivery and evaluation of community-based services.
  • Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives within Dietetics.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to colleagues and students.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
  • Deliver high-quality dietetic assessment, intervention, education and health promotion services that support positive nutrition and health outcomes.
  • Manage a diverse and increasingly complex caseload while promoting self-management, wellbeing and preventative health practices.
  • Contribute dietetic expertise to the planning, delivery and evaluation of multidisciplinary community-based services across the BHFLHN region.
  • Support evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives, service development and the ongoing evaluation of Dietetic services.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to colleagues, students and allied health staff while fostering strong professional partnerships across the region.
