Job summary

Westmead Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking a Diet Supervisor to lead the Diet Office and Formula Room, ensuring patient‑centred nutrition services and safe, accurate meal management.

You will supervise staff, coordinate rostering and leave, and drive the optimisation of CBORD, Cerner and other diet‑office systems in collaboration with Dietetics, Food Services and IT to support patient safety and care. This permanent part‑time role offers ongoing learning and career development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Diet Office, CBORD system and Formula Room, ensuring efficient, patient-centred nutrition services.
• Supervise Diet Office and Formula Room operations, rostering, leave management and staff coordination.
• Lead the management, maintenance and optimisation of CBORD, Cerner and other diet office systems to support accurate diet ordering and meal delivery.
• Monitor staffing, stock levels, nutritional supplements and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Collaborate with clinical dietetics, food services and IT stakeholders to resolve issues, manage system changes and maintain patient safety standards.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives including patient satisfaction surveys, menu audits, compliance activities and staff training programs.

What you'll be doing
