Millent Civil Works in Jamisontown, NSW, seeks an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join the team. You will maintain, test and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, brakes, and other heavy plant machinery.

This full-time, permanent role offers $75,000-$90,000 per year, depends on experience. Applicants must have a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology and at least three years of diesel mechanic experience.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
• Do routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts
• Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment

Job Description

Millent Civil Works are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic to join their team in Jamisontown NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
• Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
• Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment

Skills & Abilities:

• Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
• A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Ability to work in a team environment
