Goodalltransport on the Gold Coast is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to service our heavy vehicle fleet in Yatala. This hands-on role covers maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on fleet reliability and NHVR compliance.

You will join a family-owned transport business offering immediate start, secure long-term position, and a supportive team environment. Trade qualification and experience on prime movers including Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, Iveco and Scania are

Formación

• Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Experience on prime movers and trailers
• Experience with Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, Iveco and Scania
• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle compliance requirements

Responsabilidades

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnostics and mechanical repairs
• Breakdown response and fault finding
• Accurate maintenance record keeping in line with NHVR Maintenance Accreditation requirements

About the Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles remain compliant and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnostics and mechanical repairs
• Breakdown response and fault finding
• Accurate maintenance record keeping in line with NHVR Maintenance Accreditation requirements

About You

• Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
• Proven experience working on prime movers and trailers
• Experience with Kenworth, Mack, Freightliner, Western Star, Iveco and Scania
• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude
