Job summary

JBS Prime City Feedlot in NSW is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team. You will maximise equipment reliability by performing preventative maintenance, servicing and timely breakdown repairs across trucks, feeding equipment, loaders and other agri-machinery.

This full-time role offers a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a starting rate of $39 per hour. Onsite accommodation may be available for suitable candidates and relocation assistance is offered for eligible

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic with post-trade experience.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
• Experience with maintenance/repair in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of safe work practices and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Maximise equipment reliability by performing preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs.
• Work across a diverse fleet including trucks, feeding equipment, loaders and tractors.
• Ensure work complies with safety, housekeeping and relevant legislation.
