Job summary

JBS Australia, operating the Prime City Feedlot, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join its Maintenance Team. You will maximise equipment reliability by performing preventative maintenance, servicing, and timely breakdown repairs across trucks, feeding equipment, front-end loaders and other agricultural machinery.

This full-time, Mon-Fri role offers a starting rate of AUD 39 per hour. Onsite accommodation may be available for suitable candidates, with uniforms and PPE provided and

Qualifications

Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic with post-trade experience.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Experience with maintenance/repair in fast-paced environments.
Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and timely repairs on heavy vehicles.
Carry out diagnostics and fault finding across hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Maintain equipment reliability and availability.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safety compliance.
