Job summary

MCA Engineering in Parkes, NSW, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and service our fleet of mining and mobile equipment. This full-time role focuses on preventive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to keep assets safe, reliable and available for project work.

You will join a safety‑conscious team in our Parkes workshop, with a Monday–Friday day shift and an immediate start. DIDO accommodation is available for eligible candidates, with local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Current White Card and current driver's licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair diesel equipment and fleet assets.
• Carry out breakdown repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on mining equipment.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with site teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
