Job summary

CT Labour Hire & Recruitment seeks Diesel Fitters & Diesel Mechanics for the Laverton North depot. This is a workshop-based role with occasional on-site and overnight work, ideal for workers seeking strong work–life balance while applying their skills.

You will service mobile plant and mining equipment, performing maintenance, bearing replacements, basic auto-electrical work and fault finding. Full-time hours with overtime; casual start transitioning to permanent after probation.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights.
• Experience with mobile plant or mining equipment.
• Welding & fabrication experience (STICK & MIG).
• Electrical troubleshooting of 12-24V systems.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Safety-focused and reliable.
• Experience with crushers, screens and conveyors.
• Mining or site-based maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on mobile plant and mining equipment, including crushers, screens and conveyors.
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Replace bearings and mechanical components as required.
• Conduct basic auto-electrical work and fault finding.
