Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service and repair new trucks and trailers in a busy Parafield Gardens workshop. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role is ongoing with day shift hours, focusing on heavy vehicles and trailers. You will work with braking, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and trailers.
• Experience working with braking, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair new trucks and trailers.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and mechanical inspections.
• Complete minor and major mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Perform quality inspections on completed vehicles before delivery.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
• Work with braking, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
