We are currently recruiting Diesel Fitters to join our team.
The Diesel Fitter will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective maintenance, repair and or servicing of council’s plant and fleet in line with industry best practice and standards.
This includes both in the field and in workshop scheduled, reactive and or breakdown type maintenance, repairs or servicing of a diverse fleet of small, medium and large truck type fleet, construction type equipment, mowing and agricultural type equipment and associated equipment or attachments.
This role may be required to work anywhere within the Council boundaries, including callouts and work which may require an overnight stay in Council provided accommodation or campenvironments.
In this permanent role, there is scope for future career development, training and progression. There is overtime available however this is optional.
