Job summary

Mader Group is seeking experienced Underground Diesel Fitters to join our Central Western NSW operations. Offering $70-$80 per hour plus super, with 7/7 rosters or flexible rosters to suit lifestyle.

This role includes a company vehicle and fuel card, accommodation and meals provided, and long-term, stable work across multiple underground sites. Ideal candidates have a trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology and at least 3 years of underground hard rock mining experience, with strong

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years underground hard rock mining experience.
• Experience maintaining OEM underground equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.
• Experience working independently underground.
• Current driver’s license and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct inspections and reporting.
• Support development and production operations.
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.
• Work effectively within a mobile maintenance team.
