Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Stonehouse is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join a growing independent team. You will perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics across a diverse range of vehicles in a spacious, non-corporate workshop.

Base is Stonehouse with modern facilities, on-site parking, and a strong emphasis on quality workmanship and honest customer care. A UK driving licence and own tools are required; MOT/F-Gas qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent)—time-served technicians with a proven track record are strongly encouraged to apply regardless of formal certifications
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
• Active MOT Tester licence or F-Gas certification is preferred, but not required
• Reliable, self-motivated professional with great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive team-player attitude

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (positioned directly within our standard bracket depending on hands‑on experience and skill level)
• Hours: Permanent, stable weekday hours - 08:00am - 17:30pm (Guaranteed weekday schedule with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKEND SHIFTS)
