Job summary

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role provides high quality diagnostic and consultative services and participates in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department.

The successful applicant must be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner

Qualifications

• Must be a current registered medical practitioner with AHPRA registration or eligible.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Radiology.
• Subspecialty radiology interests welcome and encouraged (abdominal, cardiac, neuro, musculoskeletal, breast, interventional radiology).
• Involvement in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within Radiology Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality diagnostic radiology services.
• Participate in MDT and cross-disciplinary activities.
• Engage in teaching, research and quality improvement within Radiology Department.
