Job summary

Metro South Health in Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital delivers high-quality radiology services across cross-sectional imaging and plain radiography. Subspecialty interests are encouraged and Nuclear Medicine dual training is supported where aligned with service needs.

The role includes education and supervising Radiology Registrars, strong teamwork with the radiology team and the broader clinical staff, and leadership to assist the Director in service development and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical capability with leadership and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic reporting across most cross-sectional imaging modalities, as well as plain radiography, contributing to a comprehensive and timely Radiology service.
• Support subspecialty interests and Nuclear Medicine dual training where aligned with service needs.
• Demonstrate commitment to education and development of Radiology Registrars through teaching, supervision, and case-based learning.
• Collaborate effectively with Radiology colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary health environment to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership capacity with the ability to support the Director in managing and improving the Radiology service.
