Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a hands-on dewatering technician at Mungari Operations on a residential 8:6 roster. You'll install, relocate and maintain dewatering pipelines, pumps and related infrastructure to keep mining operations moving.

This role involves troubleshooting diesel pumping systems, performing inspections, and supporting site readiness while working independently. We value practical dewatering experience, safety focus, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and operations

Qualifications

• Experience in dewatering, pumping or water management within mining, civil, infrastructure or industrial operations.
• Demonstrated experience working with pumps, pipelines and water transfer systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• A strong commitment to safety and risk management.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with a variety of stakeholders.
• Competent computer skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• A current WA C Class Driver's Licence is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Keep mining operations moving by installing, relocating and maintaining dewatering pipelines, pumps and associated infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot diesel-powered pumping systems to minimise downtime and production delays.
• Conduct inspections, fault finding and preventative maintenance activities across a large operational footprint.
• Support operational readiness activities, site infrastructure moves and general site services as required.
• Build strong working relationships with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders while working independently.
• Champion safe work practices, environmental compliance and high housekeeping standards in everything you do.
