Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Dewatering Technician to join our surface mining team at the St Ives mine. The role reports to the Dewatering Supervisor and involves installing, moving, and maintaining dewatering equipment to keep operations productive.

Relocation and company-supported accommodation may be available for eligible candidates relocating to Kalgoorlie or Kambalda, including six months of housing under policy. Applicants from under-represented groups are encouraged.

Qualifications

• HR driver’s licence is required for on-site vehicle operation.
• Desirable certifications such as Tool Handler qualifications and Rigging/Dogging tickets are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and remove poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems, and associated plant to support open-cut mining dewatering operations.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to meet maintenance targets and minimise downtime and production loss.
• Follow all task procedures, maintain high housekeeping standards, and contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.
