Job summary

Housing Australia is seeking a Dynamics 365 Platform Engineer to own security, performance and reliability of its Dynamics 365 platform and related environments. You will apply DevSecOps, automation and cloud engineering best practices to deliver secure, scalable solutions supporting growth and digital innovation.

About the role

As the Dynamics 365 Platform Engineer, you will own the security, performance and reliability of Housing Australia's Dynamics 365 platform and supporting environments. Leveraging DevSecOps, automation and cloud engineering best practices, you will help deliver secure, scalable and resilient technology solutions that support business growth and digital innovation

Key responsibilities

Own the governance, administration and optimisation of Dynamics 365 and enterprise platforms, including environment management, configuration, upgrades, access controls, platform standards and change governance.

Lead platform engineering and environment management, establishing, maintaining and automating secure development, test and production environments, while driving CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and application lifecycle management practices.

Ensure secure integration and platform reliability, overseeing integrations across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure and other enterprise systems, while maintaining performance, scalability and resilience.

Embed security, compliance and operational governance, implementing DevSecOps practices, identity and access controls, audit and compliance requirements, disaster recovery capabilities, and alignment with organisational security standards.

Drive monitoring, optimisation and continuous improvement, leveraging observability tools, performance metrics and automation to improve platform health, reduce risk, optimise costs and strengthen operational maturity.

Collaborate with stakeholders and provide technical leadership, working with architects, developers, vendors and business teams to ensure platforms, environments and releases align with enterprise architecture, governance and business objectives.

Skills and experience

Deep Dynamics 365 and Power Platform expertise, including Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and Finance & Operations, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages.

Strong platform governance, security and operational expertise, with experience managing enterprise platforms, access controls, compliance requirements, monitoring, optimisation and operational resilience.

Strong Azure and cloud platform experience, including identity and access management, security, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, workflow automation and cloud governance.

DevSecOps and environment management capability, with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, release management and environment provisioning.

Enterprise integration and data management skills, including API management, integration across cloud and hybrid environments, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Dataverse and enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications and certifications highly regarded, including a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, along with Microsoft certifications (Azure DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer or Solutions Architect), ITIL, TOGAF or SAFe certifications. Experience with AIOps, FinOps and AI-enabled platform services is also highly desirable.
