Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to deploy, automate, operate and sustain a PostgreSQL-based platform in a secure enterprise setting. You will build and maintain platform environments, implement IaC using Terraform, and develop automated deployment pipelines within Kubernetes-based environments.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, operation and ongoing sustainment of a PostgreSQL-based platform within a secure enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and maintaining platform environments, developing automated deployment pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code, and supporting highly available production environments.

You will play a key role throughout the engineering and implementation phase before transitioning into long-term operational support, platform optimisation and continuous improvement activities.

The role will suit a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience across Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD and containerised infrastructure who is comfortable operating within secure, highly available environments.

• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Experience supporting secure, highly available production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring and incident response capabilities.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
