Job summary

Boral is seeking a Development Engineer to support technical excellence in R&D and testing operations for high-end concrete testing methodologies and mix designs.

You will lead and support durability testing, collaborate on trial mixes, and stay ahead of testing trends while providing client and internal technical support. The role includes managing one direct report and facilitating knowledge transfer within the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 17025, AS1012, AS114, AS1289 and NSW methods.
• Strong background in materials science or materials engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of QestLIMS.
• Experience in concrete mix design, admixtures, grouting, or consultancy.
• Familiarity with industry standards and testing protocols.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

As a Development Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing high end Concrete testing methodologies and mix designs. You’ll contribute to industry-leading research and development and support customer-facing initiatives.
