EBR Ever Better Recruitment is partnering with one of Australia’s leading financial services firms to recruit an Avaloq Developer. The role is full-time and Sydney-based, offering exposure to advanced wealth management platforms and complex enterprise systems.

You will implement features, maintain the Avaloq platform, and provide ongoing support to help the business meet its strategic objectives. The ideal candidate has 2+ years with Avaloq and strong PL/SQL/Oracle skills.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Avaloq platform.
• Advanced PL/SQL, Oracle and SQL experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services.

Responsabilidades

• Refining and enforcing Avaloq code base concepts.
• Evaluating solution proposals and solution design from junior developers and contractors.
• Constructing best practice solutions and designing processes based on the needs of the business.
• Building automated test cases as well as defining, implementing and maintaining automated testing.
• Perform unit testing of solutions and serving as the escalation point for monitoring alerts.
• Customising Avaloq Core Platform processes.
• Identifying risks associated with changes being made to the system.
• Defining integration patterns to other systems.
• Developing a deep technical knowledge across several functional areas.
• Providing second level support for incident management.
• Monitoring the quality of contract developer code.
• Gauging/rating development effort.
