Job summary

AMA Group is seeking a Detailer to join our Darra, QLD team. You will perform quality checks, buff and de-nib paint, polish finishes, wash vehicles, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires an interest in automotive repair, a current NSW driver's licence and full Australian work rights, with immediate availability for start. This position offers non-standard hours discussion and staff benefits as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Quality check vehicles upon receipt to ensure the repair is complete.
• Buff and de-nib paint to the required finish.
• Polish the vehicle according to procedures.
• Wash the car and keep interior free of waste and dirt.
• Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety policies.
• Follow QA and WHS procedures and company programs.
• Contribute to a positive work environment for staff and visitors.
• Treat customer vehicles and belongings with respect at all times.
• Care for company property and equipment.

The Opportunity

Role responsibilities

• Quality check vehicles upon receipt, ensuring completeness of previous work
• Buff / De nib paint to achieve required finish
• Polish the vehicle in accordance with procedures and processes
• Wash the car and ensure inside is clear of any waste or dirt related to the repair
• Maintain Clean Workspace Policy
• Carry out your tasks in line with the Company’s Workplace Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Policies, Procedures and Programs
• Contribute to creating a positive work environment for all staff and visitor
• Treat customer’s vehicles and belongings with respect at all times
• Respect all company property and equipment.
