Job summary

Capital S.M.A.R.T is seeking a Detailer at our Darra, QLD facility. You will perform vehicle detailing tasks including washing, buffing, paint prep, and ensuring cleanliness of work areas. The role requires an eye for quality and adherence to WH&S and QA policies.

Applicants with a passion for automotive work, existing NSW driver’s licence, and Australian work rights are encouraged to apply. Flexible hours may be discussed.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive industry and willingness to work with vehicles.
• Previous detailing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Must hold a current NSW driver’s licence.
• Must have full Australian work rights.
• Available to start immediately or soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Quality check vehicles on receipt and ensure all previous work is complete.
• Buff and de-nib paint to the required finish, then polish as per procedures.
• Wash vehicles and ensure interior is clean of debris from repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace aligned with policies.
• Follow WHS, QA policies and company procedures at all times.
• Treat vehicles and belongings with care and respect.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for Detailer to join the team at Darra QLD

Role responsibilities

• Quality check vehicles upon receipt, ensuring completeness of previous work
• Buff / De nib paint to achieve required finish
• Polish the vehicle in accordance with procedures and processes
• Wash the car and ensure inside is clear of any waste or dirt related to the repair
• Maintain Clean Workspace Policy
• Carry out your tasks in line with the Company’s Workplace Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Policies, Procedures and Programs
• Contribute to creating a positive work environment for all staff and visitor
• Treat customer’s vehicles and belongings with respect at all times
• Respect all company property and equipment.
